1. Its a goalporiya lokogeet (goalpara is a district of assam specifically in lower assam where legendary singer Pratima Barua Pandey was born.). “Traditional song from Goalpara Assam” - (Koch Rajbongshi Folk Song)
This traditional folk song was popularized in the 1950-60s by Goalpara's greatest artist - Padmasree Pratima Pandey Barua. It talks about the transience of human body/life. The Punjabi lyrics kind of compliment and provide a closure to the Goalpariya lyrics.
Goshai-jee (you can say Goswami jee or Guru ji) is probably a form of addressing the Supreme Power. Goalpariya folk song. The dialect is spoken by the peple of undivided Goalpara district (Goalpara, Bongaigaon, Dhubri and kokrajhar). The dialect is also referred as rajbanshi, kamatapuri, deshi in some of the literature.

A true-to-its-roots Assamese folk song -- Jhumor can easily take on you on a journey to the tea gardens of Assam.Jhumoor is present among the Santhal tribes of India...after all they were brought by the British to Assam to work in the tea gardens...but Jhumoor is far more popular(and accepted) in Assam to the extent that it is a part of even our bihu celebrations, go to any Bihu function, it will be incomplete without a Jhumoor...in any case all those thing really doesn't matter...just enjoy the music...

3. This is a folk song from Assam. Tokari is a form of traditional folk music in Assam, which also originates from the Assamese instrument dukari. Papon has added a lot of electronic elements to the song. This form of folk music is slowly dying out in Assam.
